So I've managed to move around my schedules so that I can catch up with all the good films that are showing at this years Mardi Gras Gay Film Festival. And I've chosen a winner (thank God) for my first film which is Were the World Mine. In a nutshell, it's based around Timothy, a high school castaway, mocked by his jock classmates for being gay. He manages to turn things around by auditioning for a the annual play which is Midsummer's Night Dream by Shakespeare. Yadda yadda yadda, he manages to find a magic Love Potion in the book which eventuates into a purple flower. The magic of the flower, is that once you've been squirted by it's magic juice, you'll turn gay. Hence, Timothy uses it for his glory and turns the whole town gay, including the love-of-his-life jock boy Jonathan. Noice Kimmy!

When the movie started I got so excited because I thought, "OMG, this is like the gay version of High School Musical!" lolz

All I could think about was Justin.

Besides the main star Tanner Cohen (who plays Timothy and was cute enough to make me to purchase the movie ticket), I really couldn't keep my eye off Nathaniel David Becker (playing jock boy Jonathan). Isn't he a dreamboat??? All I could think of was, "Man, look at those abs and thin waist and oh so supple white skin!!! Yum!" He kinda reminds me of that red head dude from Ugly Betty who plays her boss. But yummier because he kisses boys here.hahaha His got a nice voice too and I can't wait to see him again in other films.

I hate to say this, but deep inside, I really picked to watch this movie because I wanted to get into the heads of High School boys and what they go through. Just so that I can understand Justin a bit more.

In an interview with Nathan, he says, What did he like about playing Jonathan? “Anyone who represses emotions, or a feeling, is a very interesting character. He fits in so well on the outside and on the inside he’s such an outsider — or so he feels — and that’s what drew me to Jonathan.”

I wonder if Justin is anything like that. Fuck, I can't stop thinking about him. I wish I could read minds and just pick his brain!

I'm glad we have great film makers these days! This means we can finally watch great gay movies like this one. Our stories can finally be told in proper ways. With great lighting, a great gay cast, great background music, great angles and shots. Great everything. I'm glad.

Save Me is the tale of a couple of troubled gay men (Chad Allen and Robert Gant) who find salvation (of an unexpected sort) at a "conversion therapy" ministry.

The tale of confusion in the mumbo jumbo that you will go to hell if you act upon your homosexual desires hence the need to be cured.

It's a different love story. A story about searching for that 'Love'. And in it lies another happy ending. One that maybe, just maybe, God provided.

At one point, I thought Chad had become so much more gayer. Especially when he was all drugged up. He reminded me so much of my blonde effeminite boss which was totally weird. Robert is as macho as he was in QAF. (exept he wears a lot of shorts and flannels here and boots?lolz)

The best scene was the dance. That look. They captured it oh almost so perfectly. When the universe lies only with that person. When time can stop right there and then because the moment was now. I loved it.

I thought it was almost perfect. The film I mean. Except when Gant re-appeared at the house and he asked Allen to leave with him. I thought there was going to be a lot more resistance. More extension to the story. Well, until he gave in. Then I knew the ending was coming. I felt it robbed me. I felt it cut short. But, it was a good twist which we all wanted to happen.

Lester's a good guy. Someone that really believed in God.

Great film!!!

OrangeTang*gina!!!

Sa Blacktown ko lang pala mahahanap ang mga copya of some of the great gay films of the Philippines, nagpapakahirap pa akong magdownload.

Here I found new copies of Daybreak, Ang Lihim ni Antonio, Sikil and the lesbo film Rome and Juliet. They also had a lot of the Provoq DVDs, some of the masahe ones and the lot...I'm sure to be coming here more often.

One day I hope they'll have Roxxxane, Serbis and Kambyo much more...

I've just managed to download Ang Lihim ni Antonio (Antonio's Secret) courtesy of Kuya Miong and freaking loved it. Like LOVED IT!!! It has everything I've ever wished for in a Filipino gay film and more. Synopsis of the film here.

I thought it was very brave in all it's aspects and it was so unexpected, I fell in love with it. Like seriously. It did everything the back of my Dirty head wanted it to do (and did I mention it was so unexpected) that I fell off my chair. Lessee...Let's list them down. Ok, so first we were introduced to the dirty old gay guy Eli who picks up all the tricks and twinks and gives them the opportunity to star in Telenovelas on TV in exchange for some molestation. Eew! (I was actually just paying attention to the hot metizo guy with him) Then there was the straight-boys-I let-some-gay-guy-suck-me-off-confessions with friends in 'his' bedroom it was so hawt! Then came the bad-thoughts-I-want-to-touch-him-while-he-sleeps-coz-he's-so-damn-drunk-while-were-sleeping I'm shaking so furiously out of nervousness moments followed by the acceptance of the offer which was followed by the fondling, the kissing, the butt shots and the ultimate money shot for me...the dog-like powered humping. Wowz. What else? The movie was further illuminated by the unexpected promdy boy-next-door hawties that just suddenly arrive, followed by the awkward I-have-a-crush-on-you-stares during meals that spoke of longing. I was moved by the 1-on-1 confessions to a friend that 'I could be gay!' Then the straight-boy gay pick ups at bars, followed by the I-have-porn-on-my-phone turn on, made hotter by the real live masturbating with thick and big hot cocks. Gawd, where's the fan? Then, there were touching and fondling, there were the MUs, more touching and fondling, there were removal of briefs , there were real cock pulling and then pretend sucking, secret rendevous, then more pretend cock sucking and lastly, and I mean lastly...an almost real fuck/rape scene with real cocks flying around. AWESOME!!! *clap clap clap*

How I have only focused on the sex angle of this film on this blog. So sorry, malibog ako. The other underlying storyline like the Mom-Dad relationships and friendships were good too. It helped me not to pull my pants down and whip it out during the movie.

May I reiterate, this is not a porn film!!! It's probably just one of the greatest Pinoy Indie films I've seen of late.

I liked the start. The point where he introduced himself...and then went on to mention his other names like his nickname 'Tong', his Friendster and chat names yadda yadda yadda. It automatically brings you to that Indie Film mode, where you know this film could lead you anywhere, as long as there are no expectations.

More: The first sex scene between Antonio and his friend. Gosh, just the humping alone nearly got me off. It started off devious, since pinagnasahan nya yung friend and na. Then it became brave, since he initiated the move. Then sensual as he tried to touch him an inch above his skin. And when the friend reciprocated, it became sexual. Ok, so the kissing scene wasn't torrid, but that's expected, since he only craved to hipo and he actually got lucky and allowed him. HAWT!!! Second: Is the new 'It' of the Philippines. Heck, he could be the first HOT gay flick porn star of the Philippines if all I care. I mean, yes, in Parola did show his dick. But,

I was watching the extra credits and Direk Joselito Altarejos was right. Marikina looked really really clean. Even I noticed that in the first part of the film especially when Antonio was riding his bike around.

I was just browsing through the Indie films coming up through PEP, and noticed na meron nanamang gay film out this February. ~bongga!!!~ Ang title ay Daybreak and it stars super cutie Coco Martin and Paolo Rivero (graveh ang puti nya!!! Tsarap!)

Sayang. If I was in the Philippines, I'd really trek it to Robinsons and see this. Kahit magutom pa ko. It looks like a really interesting film flocked by two hot men.

Sana...
