Have you read this yet on the Advocate? News about an Anglican Leader's final thoughts on homosexuality and how it fits religion? FANTASTIC! Maybe I should become an Anglican. *sign of the cross*

But basically the gist of it came to as Archbishop Rowan Williams saying that...

''I concluded that an active sexual relationship between two people of the same sex might therefore reflect the love of God in a way comparable to marriage, if and only if it had about it the same character of absolute covenanted faithfulness,''...

For sure. If all it takes is that covenanted faithfulness in the relationship, then bring it on. The God I know is a loving God no matter what. "COME AS YOU ARE!" and this is who I am.

Cheers to you Archbishop Rowan Williams. I bow to you.

The Advocate has also placed Mathew Mitcham on the cover. Not only is he a fellow Australian, he's also an OUT diver who will be competing in todays' Olympics. Awesome!!! Someone to root for. *Woohoo*As written, "Diving’s a sport where splashes are ordinarily discouraged. But Australian Matthew Mitcham’s decision to come out of the closet has attracted the whole world’s attention to this top-ranked jock’s shot at Olympic gold." Greatly put. This is news to me. There has been some, but not as much coverage on which Aussie athletes are hitting Beijing in the media. And if The Advocate is advocating that Matt has made a splash in coming out, then it must've been a divers splash, because this is the first I've heard of it. But heck, good on ya mate! I'll surely be cheering you on.

Ah ok. I've just found the Sydney Morning Herald article here. Go Matt!!! Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!!!!
