Same-sex couples can now marry overseas

"Australians who want to take part in a same-sex marriage overseas will soon be able to apply for a certificate of no impediment.

Heterosexual couples already have the legal right to the certificate which confirms there is no legal impediment to a person taking part in a marriage ceremony.

"This important change will allow same-sex couples to take part in overseas marriage ceremonies," federal Attorney-General Nicola Roxon said in a statement on Friday.

They will considered married according to the laws of that country.

In some countries, foreign nationals are required to produce a certificate of no impediment of marriage from the country in which they hold citizenship.

Applications for the certificate can be made from February 1.

The change has been welcomed by the Public Interest Advocacy Centre.

The centre's chief executive Edward Santow said the move was an important milestone towards achieving equality for same-sex couples.

"By refusing to issue certificates of no impediments ... Australia was forcing its own discriminatory approach onto other countries," he said in a statement."

I don't know if this is the kind of article we Australians actually wanted to hear. Besides the fact that we already knew that we can go overseas, like Spain, and get married there, I don't see any reason why spend more money going overseas when we should be fighting to be married at home amongst loved ones.

In saying that, I don't know why I'm getting fussed. I should be concentrating in finding a potential hot rich boyfriend first before I can even think about making him into a husband.haha

Owen-TV: 'Spartacus: Vengeance,' with new series star Liam McIntyre

"It's been almost two years since the first season of Starz's "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" ended its run, and in that intervening time a prequel, "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena," aired and the show's title-character star, Andy Whitfield, was diagnosed with and died of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

It has not been an easy road for this series that seems to begin each season wobbly before later coming to fuller life as an engrossing, character-driven soap for viewers raised on WWE shows. "Spartacus: Vengeance" may follow a similar path. It premieres Friday, Jan. 27, at 10 p.m. EST.

New series star Liam McIntyre capably steps into the title role. He's less beefy than Whitfield, but his facial resemblance to his predecessor is uncanny. Getting beyond the recasting shouldn't be too difficult for most viewers; not that the show ignores Whitfield's passing: He's remembered in a card at the end of the episode as "a champion on screen, a legend in our hearts."

Remembering where the "Spartacus" story left off is a greater challenge complicated by new characters that appear at Spartacus' side but aren't introduced in a way that lets the audience know who they are or how they got there. This season could be called "Spartacus: Who the Hell Are These People?"

As it begins, Spartacus is leading a slave rebellion that's terrorizing Capua. Last season he killed Batiatus -- and gravely wounded Batiatus' wife, Lucretia (Lucy Lawless) -- but Spartacus is still seeking vengeance on those involved in putting his now-dead wife in harm's way. Spartacus also supports Crixus (Manu Bennett) in his effort to retrieve Crixus' love interest, Naevia (newcomer Cynthia Addai-Robinson takes over the role from actress Lesley-Ann Brandt in another bit of recasting).

When not bedding Mira (Katrina Law), Spartacus tries to aid Aurelia, the wife of his friend Varro, who died in season one. Aurelia wants to be reunited with her son.

But viewers have to pay close attention to remember who all these characters are and how they fit together. The season premiere doesn't offer much help, beginning with an extremely limited "previously on ..." recap and few reminders in the script by series creator Steven S. DeKnight.

Keeping track of Spartacus' Roman enemies and their relationships also proves a challenge. While blond, scheming Ilithyia (Viva Bianca) is tough to forget, it takes some time to piece together that it was her husband, Claudius Glaber (Craig Parker), who sold Spartacus to Batiatus at the start of the series. Now Glaber catches hell for the massacre that Sparty and friends perpetrated in the House of Batiatus.

New Romans introduced include young Seppius (Tom Hobbs), who joins the hunt for Spartacus when he's not stealing possibly untoward glances at his sister, Seppia (Hanna Mangan Lawrence).

Although Friday's season premiere is a bit confusing at times, the "Spartacus" world comes into better focus in episode two, which brings back former gladiator trainer Oenomaus (Peter Mensah), formerly known as Doctore.

And, of course, it wouldn't be "Spartacus" without elaborate, bloody fight sequences. True to form, often the blood is cartoonish -- at least twice in Friday's episode it washes over the whole screen like spilled red Kool-Aid -- and sometimes the wounds are grisly and gory. The show keeps you on your toes; you never know if a fight scene will end in viewer laughter at splashy, unreal excess or a squeamish rush to hide your eyes.

Full-frontal nudity remains extensive, whether it's a flashback to scenes from season one or a new visit to a brothel that Spartacus and his men tear up, disemboweling naked, stunned Romans and terrifying chained-up prostitutes.

As in season one and the prequel, "Spartacus" does not put its best foot forward in its first hour. But just as those two prior seasons showed marked improvement as the storytelling became more sure-handed, there's reason to be optimistic that the same will be true for "Spartacus: Vengeance." "

I guess I was starting to itch for some new episodes of Spartacus. I need cock. :p

And lo and behold, my wish came true as I happened upon an article that the 2nd Series, Spartacus: Vengeance (and though we'd all think that this is the 3rd Season because of Blood and Sand) will be starting in January 27th.

Not that I'm complaining. At least I got to see it a week in advanced.hehe As always...I'm hooked and I can't wait to see more cock...errr...Spartacus in the coming weeks. Oh, what I meant was I can't wait to see Spartacus' cock in the coming weeks.haha

Here's a synopsis of the new Season:
Spartacus: Vengeance is a Starz television series advertised as the second season and sequel to Spartacus: Blood and Sand. It is scheduled to premiere on January 27, 2012. Its story follows Spartacus (played by Liam McIntyre, who replaces Andy Whitfield), after he and his fellow gladiators kill their master Batiatus and escape from his gladiatorial training school or ludus. Cast members and characters who return from the first season include Lucy Lawless as Lucretia, Peter Mensah as Oenomaus, Manu Bennett as Crixus, Nick Tarabay as Ashur, Viva Bianca as Ilithyia, and Craig Parker as Gaius Claudius Glaber. Dustin Clare will also reprise his role as Gannicus from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, the prequel to Spartacus: Blood and Sand.

I'm excited at the new Season for a number of reasons:

Tom Hobbs. New kid in town who plays Seppius a twin to Seppia, a weird little duo. And they’re very rich and very powerful and Seppia is quite the little princess. Apparently, originally they wanted them to have some sort of incestuous relationship, but Game of Thrones already beat them to it. Like I mind. Go go go!!! On the first episode, he's the dude that sets a small army to hunt down the slave warriors. He looks half Asian to me, which is very welcomed here as there's no Asians in this show, and could have some Filipino blood in him. *oohhh* Don't quote me, I haven't done much research on him.hehe He seems arrogant and ambitious and like all the other Romans, sex hungry. Can't wait to see his cock.

More cock. It doesn't matter who's. That's the beauty of this show. They have so many random sex scenes. And this episode doesn't disappoint.

Maybe Liam's cock. Although I was a little disappointed in the opening scene because Liam doesn't seem to be buffed enough. Where are the pecs dude??? Don't get me wrong. He seems well fitted for the role, but I need more buff dude.

That was what I was 'Googling' on the last minutes of the day (Jan 15th) after I happened upon an article from the Modern Tonic blog about the new-ish movie (which Australia hasn't heard of before) 'Shame' starring (as on the topic of this entry) Michael Fassbender of course! I did happen upon the latest issue of French gay Magazine Tetu (and by latest I mean October 2011) avec ils 'Nouvelle Formule' at the newstands in Parramatta which truly surprised me. O-M-G!!! I've only seen (and hunted) for issues of this amazing mag selling either at Town Hall station or at Oxford St. My eyes nearly lit up, to my surprise, to find this in the Western Suburbs. A-Mah-Zing!!! I readily read it in the bathroom, after coming home, as I did my thing for the second time of the day. What's wrong with my bowels today. Hey...get your mind off the gutter.

I'm not too fussed about their new format though. Actually, I take that back. I love the new size of the mag. Finally, it fits in my mag box properly now. But the new designs still needs to grow on me. It feels very Elle magazine and seems too busy, the fonts are vying too much for my attention and I don't know if I like the lack of white space. I like my white space. Donc Tetu, si vous lisez ceci, prend notes sil vous plait!!! Merci. I really need to catch up on my French though. I should really take the time to buy me a notebook, photocopy articles, stick it on the notebook and attempt to translate them. Nice. Oh and watch more French films on SBS or download more stuff. I am dying to read the article on the three guys who spoke about their 'First time with a man'. I think that'd be a good read.

There, I came upon a realisation that my fave French photographer Francois Rousseau has released a new book called 'Wet Men.' The title alone has gotten me salivating like a wet dog. Definitely something to add to the Wish-lust!!! I've googled some images for your delight. *not that anyone really reads my blog*haha

I also found out about the new-ish movie 'Beauty' by Oliver Hermanus and Chinese gay movie 'Permanent Residence' to add to the download list. The story of Beauty is quite interesting. It focuses on an aging man's desire to chase his hidden secret as he slowly falls infatuated with a younger very looking man. Enough to lead his life into a spinning wreck and transform into a horrid stalker. Whilst I'm interested to see all the skin in Permanent Residence, which is becoming more and more into a recipe and formulae in modern Chinese gay movies. Of course it narrates the story of the tragic love stories of gay men which is somewhat universal I suppose. Gander at the trailers kuds.

The later part of the evening was spent on the internet, just catching up with our big gay world. I should really stop spending too much time on the net. Upon a sudden urge to Spring Clean the house, I came upon a copy of one of Singapore's leading Men's Magazine August. *yawn* And lo and behold, who's in the cover???

One of my favourite Korean actors at the moment Jung Woo Sung. *crush*

I'm actually watching and drooling over him at the moment over his last year TV series Action KDrama Athena where he also plays as Jung Woo *duh, very creative guys* who works for South Korea's version of the FBI/CIA called NTS. His story follows his dedication to the company and it's goals while being torn at the same time for his feelings for Hae In who has a dark secret. He's really quite awesome here and I can't believe I've only found the DVDs in Cabra a few months ago? I having a few troubles here about his hair...which is great combed and gelled up. The whole fringe thing I get, just not happening that's all. It doesn't really all improve until about episode 10 which I am up to as to the date of this post. If you love the show 24, then you'd love this show. Ok ok, it doesn't quite hit the intensity of the action and dramas of 24, but it's getting there. You'll know Athena is highly budgeted with all the traveling they do around the world and some of the graphics and shots of great architecture they've produced in the show. And what's more, this is the only real KDrama show I've seen that has a billion hot Korean men jam packed in one show. (you'll know what I mean if you watch it.)

Back to the May 2011 issue of August Magazine...this is probably the only mag issue that I've read that has an English interview of him. (though I'm sure if I google it enough, I'm bound to run into more things!?) Once again, I don't think they did him much credit in terms of photography. It just didn't capture how dashing and handsome Jung Woo really is. In Athena, you can see how tall and handsome this guy is. And that body...phew!!! Uber hawt!!! Here, we have a few shots of him with really bad wispy hair. Yuk! The only shot I'll pass is when he was taking his shirt off and some nipple shot happening there. Hawt!!! But what was MOST intriguing for me about the interview was the last question they asked and his answer:

As I was driving back from work, popular Sydney radio station Nova 96.9 was seeking for callers who were still closeted.

I was tempted to call and get my story heard on the radiso by all masa. But I dared not. They were pretty friendly about it and they just wanted to hear people's stories as to why they haven't come out and what's kinda stopping them. Both DJ's had gay people in their lives. "A new poll shows a majority of Australian s believe gay marriage will be legalised down the track.

The majority of Australians concede it's only a matter of time before same-sex marriage is legalised, a new poll suggests.

Lobby group Australian Marriage Equality is using the Galaxy poll, which it commissioned, to call for gay marriage to be legalised.

Around 75 per cent of respondents agreed it was inevitable that Australian laws would be changed to allow same-sex marriage.

"The tide of history is running towards equality and nothing can turn it back," Australian Marriage Equality national convener Alex Greenwich said in a statement.

"Our plea to the nation's leaders is to get on with this reform instead of unnecessarily prolonging a debate."

Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays spokeswoman Shelley Argent also welcomed the new poll.

"Australia is ready for equality for our gay and lesbian children, so it's now time for political leaders to act," she said in a statement.

Ms Argent is also launching a new TV ad campaign arguing the case for gay marriage.

Federal Labor will discuss its position on gay marriage at the ALP national conference in December.

The Galaxy telephone poll of 1000 people was conducted at the end of May.

The Australian Greens says the latest poll backs the case for a conscience vote on gay marriage in parliament.

"This is an issue that has dogged Julia Gillard since she became prime minister," Greens spokeswoman Sarah Hanson-Young said in a statement.

"Ms Gillard can end what is becoming a political headache by giving all Labor members a conscience vote on this issue."

The Greens currently have a marriage equality bill before parliament.

The Christian lobby says the poll was structured to give a desired result, without questioning the consequences of redefining marriage.

"Asking people if it's inevitable the law will change is a loaded question," Australian Christian Lobby spokesman Lyle Shelton said in a statement.

The gay rights agenda to redefine marriage was "insensitive to the needs of children and the cultural and even religious views of the vast majority of Australians," he said.
The lobby urged Labor to honour its election promise to maintain marriage as being between a man and a woman."

I've finally finished watching the first Korean Drama with a gay theme Life is Beautiful (인생은 아름다워 Insaengeun Areumdawo) and all it's 63 episodes. (even if it already finished early November last year) I tried very much to hold off in finishing it because I really love this show and most of it's characters and I learnt a great deal of Korean words and phrases from them (and wondered about the beautiful Jeju Island), but c'est la vie. They've moved on, and I need to do so too.

The last episode seemed like most last episodes. It was a wrap up of every story they've tried to share with us. And they wanted it to end on a good note, so they showed a lot of happy scenes from the couples. Even the corny-ish ending bike scene with the parents falling off. I guess this was their signature and they wanted to end it like so. (though I don't think hot Kyung Soo ever tripped over except that beach scene?)

Yes, my fave characters were Tae So Ba and Kyoong Soo of course and the hardships in their lives trying to protect their man love for each other. Their scenes brought the most tear jerkers including the last episode. My only wish was, I wish they really pushed it to their limit and showed the first ever gay male kiss on National Korean TV...but it wasn't so. Maybe, their constraints were already at it's limit???

I'd like to express my thanks to the special actors Song Chang Ui (Yang Tae Sub) and Lee Sang Woo (Kyung Soo) who took upon themselves this challenge to tell the story of many gay men who are struggling in both Korea and abroad to come to terms with their sexuality. You both made the story very believable and have touched my heart many times. Also to the producers of this wonderful show who dared to bring this story forth.

To the Mum, how we wish our mothers were as strong as you, to the kind-hearted father, to the beautiful Cho Rong and her voice, Mr Innocent Ho Sub, hot Kim Min Jae and everyone else...kamsahamnida!!! I will miss this show!!!

More power to Korean dramas in the future to come and it's exciting gay storylines...

Feeling super low last night because of a small incident at work. I needed to pre-occupy my mind with dirty stuff. I know it's once again bordering the evil side which I'm supposed to be avoiding for Lent. But this is just minor stuff anyways and can only result on a hard-on which should be ok. (or so my excuse)

Saw it on PEP ages ago under 'Indie Films' and re-read it again last night. Someone had posted the whole movie on Youtube which was in snippets so had to watch it since it was right in front of me.

So I watched Laruang Lalake.

Synopsis: "Is a realist film that portrays the people within the gay film industry and their personal stories from the naughty to the gritty, from the horny to the hopeful. Created by Joselito Altarejos with the script from Lex Bonife, the film weaves the short journey of an ambitious probinsiyano actor, Samuel, an idealistic film staff who is secretly in love with an actor and a filmmaker in the brink of bankruptcy. The film also features the daring Marco Morales, as a come-back actor willing to do everything to steal a name for himself."

Lucky for me Marco Morales was in it and it also introduced Arjay Carreon. Marco is apparently dubbed as the 'Frontal Nudity King' in the gay Philippine Indie Cinema circuit due to a previous film he did where he bared it all. I'm not surprised. But I have much more respect for him than that. He is a truly good looking guy and his acting is pretty good. I heart him!!! Arjay, though a tad on the moreno side, is quite pleasing to the eye too. He seems genuine and innocent and I like that in a guy. I'd have him for a boyfriend anytime. This movie also had Mark Fabilliar as the PA and an upcoming movie director. He's quite cute, though I don't really go for twinks. But I see myself in him with all his secret boy crushes. Actually I'd gladly befriend someone like Mark. But I was most impressed with Mon Confiado whom I remember only from action films. He was really really good here as a gay man, which is a huge jump from his old bad boy image. He has lost a lot of weight which meant fitting for this role. Richard Quan is still believably straight. I wanted more.

But of course the highlight of the film is the nudity. Just the dose I needed for tonight. I didn't think Arjay had it in him to go all the way, but with the path Philippine cinema is heading at the moment...this is almost a must!!! And if I'm spot-on with the mind-set of gay Filipinos in shobwiz lalaland, their thoughts would be like, "If Marco Morales and Coco Martin can do it, sino ba naman si Arjay para tumangi di ba?"

Gay and lesbian couples first to marry mid-air

A gay couple from Germany and a lesbian couple from Poland married on an airplane yesterday between Stockholm and New York.

They wed on board a SAS flight. The company is owned by the governments of Norway, Denmark and Sweden, which all recognise marriage for gay couples.

SAS has been conducting straight weddings in the air for years but began a competition in September for gay and lesbian couples to become the first to wed on a plane.

The winning couple were Aleksandar Mijatovic and Shantu Bhattacherjee, who won the competition with 81,640 votes. Their wedding was followed by that of lesbian couple Ewa Tomaszewicz and Gosia Rawińska.

The short ceremonies took place over Sweden at around 20,000 feet and were conducted by a registrar from the European Parliament.

Anders Lindström, the PR director of SAS airlines said: “We are extremely proud to be the first airline to host not only the world’s first mid-air same-sex wedding, but both the first gay and first lesbian wedding.

“As the national airline of the world’s three most progressive countries, which were the first to legalise same-sex marriages, we felt it was completely natural to also be the first with this.”

Ms Tomaszewicz and Ms Rawińska, from Poland, said their wedding was a “small victory” for all those who wish to marry in Poland, where gay marriage is currently banned.

Luke & Noah's Story - ATWT - Part 483 The End...

I can't believe it ends here. I really really loved this story when it was just really about Luke and Noah. Then Noah went blind and the story went downhill. Enter Reid and he finally managed to ruin it for all of us (though there was some spunk there, just wished it wasn't for Luke) Yes, I did hope the writers would pull the finger off their asses and work on the Luke & Noah storlyline, and yet, it wasn't meant to be. Darnit.

And so it ends.

Will there be a follow up...only the Gods knows.

They were the 1st and ever sweetest gay storyline that marked history and I thank them for that. Thanks Luke and Noah...for giving us hope. Hope that gay people would be readily accepted in society just as you both were so easily and so loved. Hope that someday somewhere, I too would find that man of my dreams that looks like Jake.haha Thanks Jake and Van for making this storyline so alive for us. For pushing aside your straightness for the sake of your art and were willing to make 'The Kiss' so real and true. I really sincerely thank you for all your work. You made magic. You guys are AMAZING!!!

Do Começo ao Fim (From Beginning to End)

I just watched this beautiful film from Brazil. And I know that I should be truly disturbed but I'm not. (?) I really really fell in love with this film! I did.

"To understand our love, they'd need to turn the world upside down." How powerful is this line. It speaks to everyone whose love has been challenged.

The story was perplexed and agonising but utterly beautiful. (it helped that the cast were super gorgeous and were willing to be naked on film.hehe) But seriously. I loved it's freedom of speech and like what they said on film, it was "...liberating."

It's liberating when it's about love and it's true love and no one needs to bat an eyelid about it. When it's true love like this, it should be the only two people that matters the most. Everything, everyone one else is the obstacle, because they don't understand. When deep down, deep deep down...it should be ok. It is ok.

I couldn't believe that Brazil were able to do a film about this sort of taboo. Thank you Downtowne Films. And I know that these kinds of stories must exist in real life. I don't know what were they thinking, which audience they were trying to capture, how they made the crew to believe in this story...but they did.

And I'm glad.

It is...a Love Story after all.

Revue: 10 out of 10.

Cinematography was also beautiful. It reminded me much of the Brazil I remember and the Buenos Aires that I visited.

Here in Berlin and discovered that I was only a few minutes away from the infamous cruising place Tiergarten.

Watching the newest in gay TV Drama from Korea titled Life is Beautiful. It's new and it's bold as it tackles gay love which was almost taboo in the country. Our protaganist is Yang Byung Tae (pictured below) who is only coming to terms with his newfound sexuality.

I've only watched the first three episodes, but judging by the way his Mum is nagging/presussing him to finally find a girl to marry, man, I'd turn gay too.hehe

Watch this space...

Whataya Want From Me - Adam Lambert Took me awhile to really get into Adam (sorry mate), just coz I didn't really follow American Idol and so I didn't know his songs.

I saw him at some award show when he went all out and that was quite excentric and exciting. Still didn't know his songs. But good onya mate. Didn't take long 'til he came out as gay.

Church was so intense today. I sat behind this young guy whom I've seen a couple of times at church whom I've always thought was cute. He's smaller than me and on the really petite and thin side but has a really angelic face. A door just creaked open, just when it was so unexpected.

Just watched this year's Mardi Gras theatre special called 'Hardcore' at the New Theatre in Newtown.

Synopsis of the storyline from SMH goes:

"This year's Mardi Gras arts festival gets off to an amiable start with this gay sex comedy from playwright Jonathan Hall.

Smart, predictable, message-free, solidly amusing and very British, Hardcore is no more an exposé of the porn industry than Are You Being Served? was a critique of consumer capitalism, but it delivers just enough cheap laughs and eye-candy to compensate for its shortcomings.

The play follows four male performers through the making of a formula skin flick.

Craig (Mark Dessaix) is the cold-hearted sexual athlete of the group, the only one with previous sex-on-camera experience.

Kevin (Julian Lovick) is a straight actor hoping to demonstrate his versatility to casting directors. Robert (Jens Bohnsack, a fabulous nom de porn) is in a long-term relationship and looking for kicks. Martin (Daniel Nemes - pictured) is single and up for anything.

Plot-wise, it's a simple behind-the-scenes confection. Implausible twists and pat reversals are delivered on cue. The four men have “issues” to some extent – formative sex experiences, many coercive, are recalled in short flashbacks – though none of it really matters in the long run.

What frisson there is derives from the on-off relationship between Craig and Martin.

There's no explicit sex. The boys keep their briefs on for the most part but there's plenty of bump and grind and a snappily staged collage of porn action from the movie they're making.

Helped along by Tony Youlden (lights) and Jon Glenn's amusingly smutty sound cues, Mackenzie Steele directs the piece without fuss and with one eye on the clock. There's little to be gained in lingering and Hardcore is the better for it. Pity you can't fast-forward to the good bits."

I quite liked it. Probably because 80% of it was all skin.hahaha I thought the characters where good in their own ways, and kissing between men in plays are always a plus for me. It makes it believable, no matter what they are in their real lives outside the play. The fist pash between Craig and Martin sent tingles down my balls.

Of course my favourite is Martin. He seemed light and energetic and funny and I loved how he always refered to himself as the third person and kept calling himself 'Martin'. Plus he was man enough to show us his cock. 200 points for you Daniel!!! I saw it hanging out of your briefs and I had a feeling it wasn't long til' that big thing hangs out eventually throughout the night.

Robert was my second favourite even though his character was a total cliche to what the society percieves as 'gay'. He had the whole flambouyancy going for him and well, matched with his tiny squeeky voice, the package was complete.

I'm glad Kevin got some kissing action even though they were minimal. I love it when the straights stray to the dark side.

And as for Craig, Mark is a brilliant actor!!! He really played Craig well and his porniness was uber evident. I wouldn't be suprised if Mark was an actual porn star.

Lighting and sounds were very good and funny. The minimal set was all they needed to portray the plot. (esp the sex scene on the couch) I thought the actors were precise on their cues. The writing and storyline was light and great for a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't demanding thought and critisicm, it was just there to tell you the story.

Overall score: 8 1/2 out of 10.

I still can't believe Daniel showed us his cock. I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!lolz

THE BIG GAY MUSICAL
The credits haven't even started and my first sight of Paul (Daniel Robinson) I knew I fell in love with the movie straight away. Gawd Daniel's hawt!!!

This is my first chosen movie (out of 5) for this year's Mardi Gras Film Festival here in Sydney. It's almost like an annual religion for me to attend the film fest (except when I was in Japan, and even then, I went to their gay film fest) and solely soak in the movies myself. Time to myself kinda thing. (although I wished this year Mike was with me)

I really really loved this movie. I adore gar movies with really really hawt actors in it that aren't afraid to kiss other boys, just like Daniel. Fuck, he had more kisses in this movie than I've ever had in life.

It had musicals (duh) with really talented singers and actors, it had religion (which was the one that brought me home) and mostly, it had a really really good and believable gay storyline.

Queensland govt hoping to reform surrogacy laws

"Debate on controversial laws to legalise altruistic surrogacy in Queensland was
expected to continue into Thursday in the state's parliament.

Queensland is the only Australian state in which altruistic surrogacy is a criminal
offence, punishable by a $10,000 fine or three years' imprisonment.

Both sides of politics support the government's bill, allowing a woman to give birth
to another couple's child for no payment, but the opposition is hoping to block
access for same-sex couples and single people.

Queensland Premier Anna Bligh has urged MPs not to create "second-class" children by excluding some people.

But opposition frontbencher Ray Hopper has questioned the government's motives for the open door legislation.

"This government is pushing for surrogacy to be accepted for many reasons, so same-sex couples can feel good, to gain popularity and in doing so reducing children to the status of pets," Mr Hopper said.

The government hadn't considered the everyday challenges of parenting, like using public toilets, he said.

"Just look at the first five years of a child's life when you've got two mothers," Mr
Hopper said.

"How do you take them to a public toilet when you go on a so-called family outing?

"They will have to go to the ladies' toilet won't they?

"You're not going to let a little boy go to the male toilet."

The state's MPs have been given a rare conscience vote on the legislation."
